Goldie's hubby jumps out of the shadows

While family, friends, colleagues, fans, and the music industry mourned the demise of Goldie Harvey, a certain Andrew Harvey who says he is Goldie's husband with pictures to back his claim posted a tribute for her on his Facebook page, and also linked it to her Facebook page with the caption 'Memories of My Darling Wife'

Unlike most people who were taken aback by his post, and who either felt his post inappropriate or a scam, or offended by it, I wasn't surprised. Not that I expected that was the kind of thing she was capable of but it had to do with an argument I had with a dude at a gathering during her stay in BBA when we discussed her romance with Prezzo. The said guy had claimed Goldie's husband was angry about it and she had called him to calm his nerves. I argued with him the authenticity of what he had said, and he held on to his claim that Goldie was married and had the blessings of her husband to be in BBA. I thought his claim was suspicious as he refused to divulge how he came about that news.

So when I clicked on a link tweeted from Goldie's handle, posthumously, supposedly by her admin, I was expecting to read a proper tribute, not a controversial one. I wouldn't have believed it if her tweeter handle hadn't tweeted  the link, but the question I asked was why the acclaimed husband who is a senior contract engineer at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, decided to bring this news to the public fore at a time like this?

Many people asked the same question, probably suspecting an ulterior motive but he was quick to defend his actions saying 'this a request of the family to make it known that she was married, our private life was always private, but now it is open because all the haters cannot get to her any more. for me my back is broad!!!'

He even reacted to a post on an online blog talkofnaija.com about Prezzo's visit to Lagos following the late musician's death. He shared the link on his facebook page and wrote 'Prezzo, please leave our family to grieve in peace. You have caused enough hurt and pain'

When someone countered that Goldie was no longer with Andrew, although legally married like Prezzo, and that what Prezzo and Goldie shared wasn't a secret, asking why Andrew did nothing about it or come up with this claim of his while she was alive, he replied her saying 'she was with me in Malaysia (Kula Lumpur) just before going to LA, so ur logic does not work out. Prezoo was a bba game and we decided to let it run a while. We both agreed our privacy was more important when she was alive, now you all shall know'

Goldie is not here to defend herself and I find this revelations alarming, unless someone will come up with a proof or claim that this was the instruction she gave to the people whom she shared her life with while she was still alive. Also, I find it very awkward that someone is still tweeting with her handle. Please let's respect her memory.
